Rowan solid waste lab

The Rowan Solid Waste Lab (RSWL) is the collaborative research space I founded in the summer of 2014. Our projects (always involving undergraduate students!) examine questions about solid waste management from multiple perspectives. Proceeding from the philosophical position that the most complete understandings of solid waste can only emerge from robust and broad methodological approaches, RSWL projects draw on the fields and methods from Geography, Environmental Studies, Policy Studies, History, the physical sciences, Economics, Anthropology, Sociology, Engineering, the arts, and the humanities.

The best way to learn about RSWL, read our papers, view our maps, and download our resources is to explore the website!
